A Ph.D. position in Chemical Sciences is available at the Department of Chemical and Biosystem Sciences at the University of Siena, Italy, for 3 years, starting from the 1st of October 2007.

The research activity will be developed in the field of NMR relaxation studies of different systems, to find correlation with macroscopic properties of different materials. Experiments with biological systems will be also included in the Ph.D. program. We have available 40MHz FF Relaxometry, Bruker 600 MHZ, etc. Applicants should have a good background in nmr spectrometry. The deadline to submit applications is June 27th 2007.
